Where must you NOT make a U-turn in Victoria?

The answer

  • On any road with more than one lane
  • Over single or double continuous centre lines, or where a No U-turn sign applies Correct
  • Within 100 metres of any intersection
  • Anywhere in a built-up area

Why that's the answer

You must not make a U-turn over a single or double continuous line, or where a No U-turn sign applies. At a No Right Turn sign you also can't U-turn unless a 'U-Turn Permitted' sign is displayed. Wherever a U-turn is legal, you must give way to all vehicles and pedestrians.
