Learner Review Policy.

1. HOW REVIEWS WORK

1.1 When you can leave a review. After completing a driving lesson, Learners are invited to leave a review for their Instructor. Reviews can only be submitted for lessons that have been completed through the Platform.

1.2 What a review includes. A review consists of:

• a star rating (1 to 5 stars); and
• an optional written comment describing your experience.

1.3 One review per lesson. Learners may submit one review per completed lesson. If you have multiple lessons with the same Instructor, you may leave a review after each lesson.

1.4 Review visibility. Once submitted, reviews are published on the Instructor's public profile and are visible to other Learners browsing the Platform. Your first name and suburb may be displayed alongside your review.

2. REVIEW GUIDELINES

2.1 Be honest and fair. Reviews should reflect your genuine experience with the Instructor. Both positive and constructive feedback are valuable.

2.2 Be specific. Where possible, provide specific details about what you liked or what could be improved. This helps other Learners and gives Instructors actionable feedback.

2.3 Be respectful. Even if your experience was not positive, please express your feedback in a respectful and constructive manner.

2.4 Focus on the lesson experience. Reviews should relate to the driving instruction you received, including factors such as:

• teaching quality and style;
• patience and communication;
• punctuality and professionalism;
• vehicle condition and safety; and
• value for money.

3. PROHIBITED CONTENT

3.1 Reviews must not contain:

• false, misleading, or fraudulent statements;
• defamatory content or personal attacks;
• discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic;
• explicit, offensive, or inappropriate language;
• threats, harassment, or intimidating content;
• personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles);
• promotional content or spam;
• content unrelated to the driving lesson experience; or
• content that violates any law or the Terms.

3.2 Reviews from non-genuine experiences. You must not submit reviews for lessons you did not attend, or for Instructors you have not actually had a lesson with through the Platform.

4. REVIEW INTEGRITY

4.1 No incentives for reviews. Instructors are prohibited from offering discounts, gifts, or other incentives in exchange for positive reviews. Learners should not accept such offers.

4.2 No pressure or coercion. Instructors must not pressure, coerce, or intimidate Learners regarding their reviews. If an Instructor attempts to influence your review inappropriately, please report it to us.

4.3 No retaliation. Instructors must not retaliate against Learners who leave negative or critical reviews. Retaliation may include refusing future bookings, providing poor service, or any other adverse action.

4.4 No fake reviews. Creating fake reviews (whether positive or negative), using multiple accounts to submit reviews, or any other attempt to manipulate the review system is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

5. REVIEW MODERATION

5.1 Automated and manual review. DriveBuddy may use automated systems and manual review to identify reviews that may violate this Policy.

5.2 Removal of reviews. DriveBuddy reserves the right to remove, edit, or decline to publish any review that:

• violates this Review Policy or the Terms;
• contains prohibited content (as described in clause 3);
• is determined to be fraudulent or not based on a genuine experience;
• is the subject of a valid legal request; or
• DriveBuddy otherwise determines, in its reasonable discretion, should not be published.

5.3 No obligation to publish. DriveBuddy is under no obligation to publish any review and may exercise editorial discretion over review content.

5.4 Notification. If a review is removed, DriveBuddy may (but is not required to) notify the Learner who submitted it. DriveBuddy is not required to provide reasons for removal.

6. DISPUTING A REVIEW

6.1 For Instructors

If you believe a review violates this Policy, you may contact us to request a review. Please provide:

• the review in question;
• the specific Policy provision you believe was violated; and
• any supporting information.

DriveBuddy will assess the request and may remove the review if it determines a violation has occurred. Instructors must not contact Learners directly to dispute reviews.

6.2 For Learners

If you wish to amend or remove a review you previously submitted, please contact us. We may update your review upon verification of your identity and the original booking.

7. REVIEW DISPLAY

7.1 Profile display. An Instructor's most recent reviews are displayed on their public profile. The number of reviews displayed may vary.

7.2 Overall rating. An Instructor's overall star rating is calculated based on their reviews. The calculation method may be adjusted from time to time.

7.3 Review sorting. Reviews may be sorted or displayed based on factors such as recency, relevance, or helpfulness. DriveBuddy may adjust display algorithms without notice.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 Licence to DriveBuddy. By submitting a review, you grant DriveBuddy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display your review content in connection with the Platform and DriveBuddy's business (including marketing and promotional materials).

8.2 Your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring your review does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.

9. CONSEQUENCES OF POLICY VIOLATIONS

9.1 Learner violations. Learners who violate this Policy may have their reviews removed and may face account suspension or termination for serious or repeated violations.

9.2 Instructor violations. Instructors who attempt to manipulate reviews, pressure Learners, or retaliate against reviewers may face warnings, suspension, or removal from the Platform in accordance with the Instructor Code of Conduct.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

10.1 DriveBuddy may amend this Review Policy in accordance with the Terms. The version published on the Platform at the relevant time will apply.
