Double unbroken centre lines mean…

The answer

  • Overtake with care
  • Do not cross to overtake a motor vehicle Correct
  • Overtake only at night
  • The road is one-way

Why that's the answer

You must not cross double unbroken lines to overtake a motor vehicle. In Victoria the only exceptions are avoiding an obstruction, or safely passing a bicycle rider (legal since April 2021) — there is no driveway exception for double lines.
