Western Australia · Theory Test (CTT) · WA licence rules

You have held your first WA driver's licence for less than a year. How many demerit points will see you disqualified?

The answer

  • 8 or more
  • 12 or more
  • 2 or more
  • 4 or more Correct

Why that's the answer

WA runs a Graduated Demerit Point System. A Novice Driver Type 1 - anyone in their first year of licensing, including a first-time learner's permit holder - is disqualified for at least three months on accruing four or more demerit points.
