Western Australia · Computerised Theory Test (CTT) practice question
Correct answer: Give way to the bus if you are in the left lane or left line of traffic
In a built-up area you must give way to a bus pulling out from a stop when it is indicating and displays a 'GIVE WAY' sign on the back. The duty falls on the driver in the left lane or left line of traffic, which is the one whose path the bus is entering - Drive Safe states the rule, and the Road Traffic Code 2000 (reg 59) carries that condition.
