Western Australia · Computerised Theory Test (CTT) practice question
Correct answer: On a multi-lane road when it is safe, or when the vehicle ahead is signalling a right turn
Drive Safe allows overtaking on the left in three situations: on a multi-lane road when it is safe to do so, when the vehicle ahead is indicating a right turn (you may also pass vehicles stopped behind it), or when directed by a police officer. Outside those cases you overtake on the right.
