Queensland · PrepL Road Rules Test · QLD licence rules

Until PrepL is made mandatory, who can sit the in-person written road rules test instead of doing PrepL?

The answer

  • Anyone applying for a car learner licence Correct
  • Only drivers over 25
  • Only people converting an overseas licence
  • Only people without internet access

Why that's the answer

TMR is replacing the written road rules test with PrepL, but until PrepL is made mandatory you can choose either one. Once it is mandatory, people without internet access may be exempt and still sit the written test.
