Under what conditions is a door-to-door delivery driver exempt from wearing a seatbelt?

The answer

  • When getting in and out frequently and driving at no more than 25 km/h Correct
  • Only in a marked loading zone
  • Only if the vehicle has no airbags
  • At any speed, while making deliveries

Why that's the answer

The exemption applies where you are required to get in and out of the vehicle frequently for door-to-door pick-up or delivery of goods, and you drive at no more than 25 km/h. Above that speed the belt goes back on.
