Queensland · PrepL Road Rules Test · Road rules

You are in the left lane of a multi-lane roundabout. What must you do about vehicles leaving the roundabout?

The answer

  • You must give way to vehicles exiting the roundabout Correct
  • You must stop completely
  • Nothing — exiting vehicles give way to you
  • You have priority over them

Why that's the answer

On a multi-lane roundabout the left lane must give way to vehicles exiting the roundabout. You should also only use the left lane to leave the roundabout halfway around or earlier, unless lane arrows indicate otherwise.
