When may you overtake another vehicle on its left?

The answer

  • Whenever there is room
  • Never
  • On a multi-lane road in a marked lane, or when the vehicle is turning right Correct
  • Only at night

Why that's the answer

You may only pass on the left when it's safe AND the vehicle is turning right (or making a U-turn), the vehicle is stationary, or you're in a marked lane on a multi-lane road.
