The answer

  • Level with the middle of the intersection
  • Not past the hold line Correct
  • Anywhere within a metre of the line
  • Past the line, so you can see around the corner

Why that's the answer

The hold line at a STOP sign shows where you should stop, and the front of the vehicle should not be past it. If you cannot see enough from there, edge forward only after stopping at the line.
