Who is allowed to supervise a learner driver in Tasmania?

The answer

  • Any full licence holder, even if their licence is currently suspended
  • Any passenger aged 25 or older
  • A person who has held a full (non-restricted) Australian car licence continuously for at least 12 months Correct
  • Anyone who has held any Australian licence, including a provisional licence, for 12 months

Why that's the answer

Your supervisor must hold a full (non-restricted) Australian car licence and must have held it continuously for at least the last 12 months. Provisional licence holders cannot supervise a learner.
