Hi, I’m Callum. I originally got into driving instruction alongside my main work, as I run a transport business focused on corporate travel and have been doing that for about 20 years now.
Driving has always been something I’ve enjoyed. It actually started when I was younger racing go-karts, and over time I’ve had the chance to drive in quite a few different countries. These days, most of my time is spent on the roads around Melbourne, so I’m very familiar with the traffic, road conditions, and how unpredictable things can be day to day.
I enjoy working as a driving instructor because it’s a bit different from my other work and I like helping people build confidence. I try to keep lessons calm and practical, and I think being patient and easygoing helps people settle in a bit quicker.
I’m pretty straightforward with my feedback as well. If you’re close to test standard, I’ll let you know — and if you’re not quite there yet, I’ll be honest about what still needs work so you’re properly prepared.
